JRP Hydrogen and Clean Fuels

The Joint Research Partnership Hydrogen and Clean Fuels aims to promote innovative studies and research in the following areas:

• clean hydrogen production, including green and “low carbon” hydrogen;
• production of clean fuels, e-fuels or RFNBO and energy vectors linked to hydrogen, with reuse of CO2 and in combination with other primary sources
• solutions for their transport and related advanced storage systems, comparisons with other technologies for energy storage;
• innovative electrochemical and thermal applications of hydrogen and clean fuels in residential, industrial, and transport sectors;
• development of best practices for the design and construction of transport and storage infrastructures for hydrogen and clean fuels;
• analysis of materials compatibility, environmental and safety aspects.

The objective is to stimulate the creation of a hydrogen value chain in Italy, fostering corporate competitiveness and the growth of high-tech enterprises.

JRP Hydrogen and Clean Fuels is open to all companies wishing to experiment, with the support of Italy’s leading technical university and its laboratories, in research and development of hydrogen-based products and services.
