JRP Nucleare

The Nuclear Joint Research Partnership is a joint research partnership aimed at developing and testing evolutionary strategies that enable companies to be competitive in the nuclear sector, by establishing a Community of Practice and serving as a point of reference for the development of the industry.

The objectives are to:

• Foster the consolidation of the supply chain and the entire industrial network, supporting their positioning at national and international levels.• Contribute to the creation of an efficient regulatory framework capable of facilitating investments and certifications, including through the drafting of protocols or guidelines.• Provide evidence, knowledge, and scientific expertise on the role of nuclear energy in the energy transition, both at industrial and societal levels: decarbonization, energy security, and the availability of competitive energy.• Encourage the adoption of innovative solutions across the value chain, including business models, sustainable financing instruments, and impact assessments.• Act as a scientific advisory platform to inform public and industrial policies through the preparation of Policy Briefs, engaging international bodies and supporting transparent communication with citizens and the many stakeholders involved.
